Victoria University of Wellington has four campuses and operates on a three-term system (early March, July and November). Held on 55 acres in Rongotai, it features three exhibition grounds, large Art Deco-style buildings, and a hugely popular 3-acre amusement park. It enrolled 21,380 students in 2008; of these, 16,609 are full-time students. 5,751 degrees, diplomas and certificates awarded. The Wellington area has many primary and secondary schools.
